POSTPONEMENT OF BEACH PICNIC

Date: 28 SEP 2018
Dear Parents,

Unfortunately, I have had to make the decision to postpone next week's beach picnic.

Following the typhoon, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department has closed many beaches including the Tung Wan beach at Ma Wan. Although parts of the beach are accessible, the shaded area beneath the trees is still cordoned off and it is highly unlikely that the beach will have reopened by next week. Please see the note below:

Our children's safety is paramount, so I feel certain that you will understand the reason for this decision, disappointing as it is.

I plan to reschedule this lovely trip and will let you know as soon as this can be organised.

Thank you for your understanding.

Yours in Partnership,
Linda Coveney

Message from Principal (18 Sept 2018)

Date: 18 SEP 2018
Dear Parents,

You will be pleased to hear that all three Anfield campuses will be open to students from tomorrow, Wednesday 19th September.

However, we are aware that some parts of Hong Kong are still affected by road safety issues and transport disruption. If you have any concerns regarding the safety of your child’s journey to school, we will totally understand if you decide for your child to remain at home, as your child’s welfare is of paramount importance. In this case, we would appreciate it if you could inform us by email as soon as possible.

Please continue to keep yourselves safe during this post-typhoon period.

Kind regards,

Linda Coveney

Suspension of Classes Tuesday 18th September

Date: 18 SEP 2018
Dear Parents,

The recent typhoon has caused our sites to suffer from storm damage and associated debris. Across Hong Kong, there is still concern over environmental stability, road access and road safety issues, such as falling electricity cables, landslides, debris falling from a height and flooding.

Young children are especially vulnerable at this time and therefore we have made the decision to suspend classes for the students at all three Anfield campuses for tomorrow, Tuesday 18th September for health and safety reasons.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we try to resume our service as soon as possible.

Please continue to keep yourselves safe and take good care of your family.

Kind regards,

Linda Coveney
Principal

Suspend Classes - Typhoon (17 Sept 2018)

Date: 17 SEP 2018
Dear Parents,

We hope that all our families have stayed safe through the typhoon.

The EDB has announced that all Monday school classes have been cancelled, regardless of whether a typhoon or rainstorm warning remains in place on the day.

The decision was made for the sake of safety and to allow time for repairs and cleaning.

Stay safe,

Kind regards,

Linda Coveney
